Learning to write Stam does not require prior experience, but mainly a good will, dedication, and openness to learn and develop. My course is tailored for beginners, with personal , professional guidance, and ongoing support, so that each you can progress at your own pace and reach a high level of professionalism. In any case, the only question that should guide you is "Do I enjoy working sitting down for an extended period of time, and do I enjoy the shape and creation of the letters?" No special "talent" is needed - anyone can learn through training and practice, but enjoyment of the process is a necessary condition for success.

No prior experience is required! The course is structured so that you can start from scratch – even if you have never held a kulmus. You start with the basics: introduction to the world of the Stam, study of basic laws, initial writing practice with pencils, and only then moving on to writing with a pen and parchment. The close guidance of the Rav Adam allows you to progress at your own personal pace, receive answers to every question, and build self-confidence and professional skills. While talent makes the learning process easier, anyone can progress at a pace that suits their abilities – which will continue to improve as they learn!

Absolutely.Studying the writing of Stam is not only a profession, but also a deep spiritual experience – a connection to tradition, to the sanctity of writing, and to the mitzvahs of the Torah. Many students testify that beyond acquiring a profession, they experience spiritual elevation, a personal connection to the Torah and mitzvahs, and special satisfaction from engaging in this sacred craft. Even those who are looking to delve deeper into the craft, perhaps without engaging in it as a profession, will find the course an enriching, valuable, and spiritual experience.

Absolutely. The course provides you with all the knowledge and skills required for professional practice in writing Stam – both on a halakhic and practical level. During the course, you will write a Megillat Esther, and upon completion, you will receive a certificate that allows you to begin working as a Sofer. Many graduates immediately find employment – whether as independent writers, or in institutions, stores, or Chabad houses. In addition, there is ongoing business support and assistance in integrating into the field.
