What Is STaM? A Beginner’s Guide

STaM stands for Sifrei Torah, Tefillin, and Mezuzot – the three most sacred handwritten scrolls in Judaism. Each is written on parchment by a trained scribe (sofer STaM), combining halacha (Jewish law), artistry, and deep spirituality.

What Exactly Is STaM?

Tools and Materials

·       Parchment – specially prepared animal hide, designated for sacred use.
